want’s me to do a depo with him in Pitsburgh!

I love Donna Karan dresses!

The black color is nice but to bad they do NOT have it in BLUE! I LOVE the BLUE color for this pleated type dress, and would grab it!

The manageing partner want’s me to do a depo with him in Pitsburgh! I have NEVER been there, and I have to take a plane (USAIR). I hope it will be fun. To bad he is coming with me. I have to stay and do every thing with him. FOOEY!

The brother is bald also.

This showed up very late, it seems. Unclear whether this brother is the same one who attended the cookout at MP's house, and whose wife said Ellen is cute.

I agree! And beleive it or not, I do NOT think this is to expensive for what you get!

The manageing partner today was very busy stareing at me all morning, then out the window, then back at me. He is acteing very wierd today. His brother came in to the office with some other guy, and they both wanted for me and the manageing partner to go OUT to eat lunch. The brother is bald also.

But b/c I am trying to loose weight, I told the manageing partner I could only eat a cobb salad, so they did NOT want to go with me to the salad place.

I am going to see if the manageing partner will aprove this suit for me, b/c that will save me some money and I need a nice new suit!

alot of admin WC defense cases

This is the most information we've ever gotten about the substantive nature of Ellen's practice. Looks like a good portion, at least, is administrative white collar defense.
The Alan material is fairly familiar, but even more sad than usual.

I am NOT strictly a court room litigator (tho I do alot of admin WC defense cases before the WC Board), but I did have this probelem with my ex, mostly when he had been drinkeing. He would always demand that I stop doing what I was doing so that I could talk to HIM. He would NOT talk to me when I wanted him to talk to me, but insted would INSIST that I talk to him when he wanted me to talk to him (which mostely was when he was drunk). Since I did NOT like talkeing to a drunk, I often did NOT do so and this got him even more mad at me. Ugh!

I told him I would talk if he was sober, but he was not, so I did not. I understand your issue’s with your man. I no longer have this probelem and will make sure I do NOT EVER get involved with someone who abuse’s alchohol like my ex did (and still does). FOOEY on him!

NO WAY Hoze!

OH, yeah. I feel like I'm being rewarded for an unusually rigorous day of actually writing things in my blog posts.
I'm actually also working a little bit, and it sucks, so I especially needed this!
I say we go with BIFF as the name. Also, don't let anyone ever tell you Ellen is desperate to get married. She has refused at least one proposal, and with a DOUBLE FOOEY on Hoze at that!

Well, when I was in college, all the guy’s wanted to date me. But they did NOT want a l/t relationeship, just to say that they DATED me. And they tried to have me do things sexueally for them. Fooey! I would NOT do anything like that. One guy, I think his NAME was “Bud or Biff” I forget, was really wormey. All the guy’s put him UP to askeing me out. I kind of felt sorrey for him UNTIL he came up with this line:

“Ellen, I want for you to love me foreever as my wife!”

I did NOT even know where to look, b/c the guy did NOT even know me! AND, I would NEVER LOVE a man I did NOT know alot! NO WAY Hoze!

I did NOT go out with him. DOUBLE FOOEY on Biff!

"beginning to wonder if she’s for real"

As is somewhat a matter of routine, we have another Ellen conversation this afternoon. Too bad it wasn't posted earlier, as it would have gotten more responses.
TC and Cornellian, it seems, both believe Ellen 1) has been the same person all along, and 2) has undergone a transformation in content. I happen to lean toward agreement with (1), certain caveats provided, but that deserves an entire post of its own. As to (2), not so much.
It's true that Ellen has included more characters in her story over the past 6 months or so, but the gravity of the content (or, more accurately, the ridiculousness) has been fairly consistent since her ABA days and all the way through the Corporette period. Alan's alcoholism, really the most serious topic in her repertoire, has been a factor for over a year now, and if anything is less urgent than ever because they are not even friends.
Furthermore, Ellen's ventriloquism (adoption of other names and, sometimes, personas) is actually on the rise. Of course "real" Corporette commenters sometimes post under other names to solicit sensitive advice, etc., but Ellen channeling Lourine (the main recurring example) just expresses jealousy and snark toward the original character. So again, I don't see maturity or genuine issues developing here.
Yes, she sometimes solicits practical advice, but it's usually still related to something Ellenish...
As for still need a handle's assertion that Ellen is definitely a woman, I lean strongly toward agreement on that as well. Readers suspected otherwise when she kept referring to her torso as her "bodice," but I think that was just another show of incompetence. (I suppose the fact that she stopped doing that might mean she learned better?) She also seems to have pretty good command of women's clothing sizes--not impossible in a man, but hard to fake.
Readers, what say you? On any of this?

ok, I need an honest answer from somebody. After reading Ellen’s comments page after page, I’m beginning to wonder if she’s for real. Somebody please tell me she simply likes her Es everywhere and spells things that way just to annoy/entertain us.

FWIW, her formatting and spelling have been getting progressively crazier over the years. Gradually, certain “rules” have emerged, but it’s far from uniform.

wait what is your definition of for real? No there is not an actual person who thinks like she does, but yes there is an actual person who posts to entertain annoy us. Are you new to the site? (not trying to be snarky I’m trying to figure out if you are 1 new and dont realize she is a troll, or 2 are you saying that you know she is a troll but are starting to wonder if she is not a troll)

I have a more complicated feeling about Ellen. I think at one point she was purely a troll. But now, perhaps because of the passage of time or maturity, she seems to also be like a really weird regular poster. Like perhaps the person behind the mask is starting to experience real life issues, but doesn’t want to give up her Ellen-persona.

I don’t know, but lately she’s been asking for actual, concrete advice. As kanye would say — shrug.

Based on some things she’s said, I think it’s clear that Ellen is a woman. I can’t remember off the top of my head, but there are moments where I’ve thought “no wayyy would a man know that phrase/use that term/say something like that.”

The Nerdy Guy is NOT coming

We now have resolution on one of this year's more pressing plot lines. Congratulations, E. Interesting that with this news, ironically, we're returned to complete stasis: same office, same colleague arrangement, same relationship with MP, same singledom (I assume the lunch date, if kept, didn't go anywhere). You have to admire a storyteller who reflects the continuity of life's real plod.
Infer, a bit, re the conversation that took place between MP and nerdy guy regarding the "packege." To those of us with sufficient fixation and imagination, Ellen speaks between the lines. She did mention earlier that nerdy guy was reluctant to take a pay cut (having come from Dewey LeBeouf and also being a 5th year), but her emphasis now on not knowing the composition of the "overall packege" offered makes me think that MP pitched oogling Ellen every day as one of the perks of the job. And that nerdy guy was insufficiently impressed on his office visit.

The Nerdy Guy is NOT coming to work for my firm after all! Yay! I can stay in my office!!!!!

Acording to the MANAGEING PARTNER, the nerdy guy said he did NOT like the overeall compenseation packege. I do NOT know what that packege was, but I am very happy!!!!

I am alway’s very respecteful

I would tell him that you will consider all OPTIONS during and after you gradueate from school, INCLUDEING this one.

I agree you do NOT want to burn any brideges, b/c you never know who you will need for a referance. That is why I am alway’s very respecteful to the manageing partner b/c he pays my salary, and b/c he is good about the 20% reimbursment of my clotheing allowence.

I would not get these pumps, even if $20, b/c they are OPEN toe, and the manageing partner always coments about my feet. I do NOT want to give him any thing to talk about, particulearly if it is about MY body! FOOEY on that!
