hyfenateing our names

Yes, the link I have is so amazing that you had to wait FOUR DAY'S for it!!! Here we are with an earlier iteration of Ellen's and Alan's plans on last names, including possibel ramifications for children and adulterous deception/abandonment. Ellen's preference has remained consistent; her spelling of the word "hyphenate" has morphed.

Commenters have recently suggested that Grandma Leyeh track Alan down and force him to marry Ellen due to their intimate history. I strongly doubt Ellen is thinking the same, but if the old woman has been planting seeds this may be our only clue.

I agree with this. I actualy had this issue when I was thinkeing that I would be MARRIED soon to Alan, but I did NOT fall in love with his name — SHEKETOVITS. Alan SHEKETOVITS and Ellen Barshevsky. I did NOT want to be Ellen Sheketovits, and the thought of hyfenateing our names also did NOT make me happy. Sheketovits-Barshevsky he wanted, if we were to hyphenate, and I said it would be better with Barshevsky-Sheketovits, if we had to do that. Either way, it was a big FOOEY b/c Alan got mad whenever I brought up MARRAGE. FOOEY!
My Dad suggested that we drop the Sheketovits name entirely, b/c Grandma Leyeh said this was not a name of royalty in the old country, while Barshevsky was. I have NEVER found any treatises saying which names were royal, but there is a Barshevsky family tree that Grandma Leyeh maintain’s that she will not show any one. She was NOT pleased about mom’s lineage, and still think’s that she brough fat tuchuses into the bloodline, and now that they are IN, we will forever have fat tuchuses in our family. Dad agree’s, and Alan’s mother also has a fat tuchus, so mabye that is a good thing that I never MARRIED Alan. YAY!
For now, I just have to make sure I VET any prospective suitor with Grandma Leyeh. She has a 6 FACTOR analysis she use’s to see if a guy is goeing to be worthy to marry me. YAY!!!

how you can help their organizeation

Clarification of the potential tuchus explosion we heard about a few days ago. Even though I said I didn't want it.

Yay! Open thread’s!!!! I love open thread’s!!!!! And I am eating chicken soup tonite hopefully, but not alot of matzo balls. FOOEY b/c last week I almost had an accident from all the matzo balls I ate. And Rosa’s baby’s were unloadeing all over the place after she and Ed went out to visit freind’s! DOUBEL and TRIPEL FOOEY on the poopie!
As for the OP, you should Interview just like you would for a law firm. The inhouse peeople are happy to get a law firm person b/c you probably work alot harder then they do and if you get hired, they will off load alot of their tough work to you b/c you know how to work efficently for a living. I think you will be surprised how smart you are, b/c the inhouse guy’s probabley do NOT read their 10k’s or whatever else you just read and know not that much more about their company’s then you do. For example, Jim work’s in house and he spends most of his time figureing out what to buy for lunch and dinner, and where to go to find the best food in town. He knows alot about food, but he is not a legal scholear. I was the one that had to come up with the ANTI-TRUST theores for Jim even tho it is HIS company that I did the Acquisiton work for in Saint Louis.
Now Roberta is sharp, but she does NOT like to get up in court. That is my job. She is happy to see me do all of the dirty work on her cases. The same even goe’s for the banker’s I am working for. Tho the legal guy’s at the bank are smart, they rely on me (and the manageing partner)to do all of their heavy lifteing for them. So trust me, you sound like you have nothing to worry about. Just be confident, don’t be a wall flower, and do NOT be afraid to tell them how you can help their organizeation. Kudo’s in advance to you!
I can’t stay to do alot more reading today b/c MYRNA is pickeing me up with her car and we are heading out directly thru the MIDTOWN TUNNEL TO LI. YAY! I love LI and eateing home cooking. It is alot better then the take out we have to eat in the City. FOOEY! Dad is makeing me walk 2 miles with him and Myrna tonite after dinner, so I hope it is NOT humid out like yesterday. FOOEY! I got drenched yesterday. FOOEY!!!
Happy weekend to the HIVE! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

driveing me back from BROOEKELYN

Well, Willem is certainly getting serious here--asking Ellen out for this event as much as 5-6 weeks in advance? Amid all the qualms about transportation, she doesn't seem conflicted at all about whether to go. This probably means Sam continue's to be swatted away and anyone we meet for the rest of September and into October is going to have to measure up.

Yay! Fruegel Friday’s! Kat, I love Fruegel Friday’s and this sweater, tho I would be schvitzeing if I wore it yesterday! I supose it’s for the winter, right? And I would have to wear a cami so that Frank would NOT be stareing at me. FOOEY on his stareing!
As for the OP, you should just copy and paste what you said here. Say you want to take some classe’s and you would like to come in and talk about it. NO more, no less. As for your freind, unless you need to use her name, I would NOT, unless your freind is doeing real well there and is current on her bills to the school.
Willem invited me to go with him to some sort of Swanky affair his bank is holdeing at the Barcleay’s center next month. There is goeing to be a dinner, black tie for men, and I guess I will wear a black skirt with Ann Taylor shoe’s, and then there is some kind of concert to follow. Willem say’s he will have a car to drive me home b/c it will be late and he will not want to come uptown. I wonder—is this right? Should he not take me back home in the car to my place–he can alway’s stay in the car but I do NOT want to be in a car with some guy late at night driveing me back from BROOEKELYN and over the bridge after midnite. I do NOT know my way around and the guy I will NOT know. I think Willem should NOT just put me in a car after midnite and tell some driver (who could be from a 3rd world country) to drive me into Manahattan all by myself. And some of them are kind of skuzzy, especialy those that work the night shift, no? FOOEY!
Am I paranoid? What does the HIVE think? I will follow your advise on this, but do NOT want to aleinate Willem if I should be abel to trust the driver. In any event, I have a decent weekend planned. I go home tonite with Myrna, eat with Mom and Dad, spend a day with all of them in tempel tomorrow, and then drive back with Myrna Saturday night, and go to a musuem on Sunday with Myrna. Sam tried to tag along, but I said NO b/c I want to spend time with Myrna. YAY!!!!!

abel to support me in the lifestyle that I want.

More from Sam on Willem's earnings potential. Let's see some tax returns! Willem is at least 4 years older, and one has to believe that knowing to avoid nose-picking and junk-flashing may have been noticed and appreciated around bonus time.

In case anyone thought Leyeh was going to change the terms or extend the deadline for Ellen's marriage stipend--I sure didn't--you get the buzzer sound. I do wonder, however, if Ellen misses this one, will Leyeh outline a new plan with an even higher sum and an even shorter time frame? The shared goal remains the same, but with increasing urgency: Ellen saved from spinsterhood.

This is what I was worried about in my first apartement. There were all kind’s of vermen skurryeing around — mice, bug’s and roache’s. So when I said to my Dad, I did NOT go to law school and become a member of the NY Bar — in good standeing — to live like THIS, with a room mate that alway’s had a grungy guy around 24/7, stinkeing up our bathroom and burpeing after drinkeing milk out of the carton– Dad agreed!!!
So my dad said he would buy me an apartement (just a coop), and I could live in a better place where I could meet a decent guy who would MARRY me and we would be abel to live in even a BETTER place together (Yay!). So I got this cute apartement where it is all decorated by Mom’s freind (a profesional designer), but I STILL have not found MR RIGHT to marry me and let me move up in the world to a 3 BEDROOM, which is what we would need with a Balcony and a swimming pool on the roof, in Tribeacca. That is what I would like and deserve, but Sam is not measureing up and Willem is according to Sam, who is prejudice, not abel to support me in the lifestyle that I want.
So I want to be along way better then the mice infested roach trap I lived in on 89th, and have made some steps to get there, but hope to be MARRIED and with child before next September, which Grandma Leyeh reminded me over the holiday mean’s I have to get busy before YEAR END. FOOEY! Because the guy’s I have now are not those that I want to marry and I will NOT sleep with anyone without at least a ring. DOUBEL FOOEY!

b/c I would have aksed them first

This is about as close as Ellen ever gets to witty repartee. Good thing the Tek-Geek didn't misinterpret!

Mine is OK, Kat, I do NOT have any virusses! Yay! Mabye Woods-Comma-Elle should get a VIRUSS checker to make sure her machine is NOT infected! I hope it isn’t b/c when I was in law school, I let a guy borrow my PC (it was NOT a Mac) and he visited some dirty site’s and I wound up getting pop up messages of women doieing dirty things to men, and I did NOT want to have these POP-UPs show up, so I took my machine to a GEEK place on 29rd and Pennsylvania and he SCRUBBED my hard drive clean of the viruses, and charged me onley $5.
The guy who looked a littel like Urkel from the TV show and he wanted to know if I knew any women that were Tek-Geek’s at GW that might want to go out with him. I said that I did NOT b/c I would have aksed them first to fix my machine.
So to make along story short, you should bring it to a Geek unless you are at work, and then you should get your IT guy to fix it. (Our IT guy likes to stare at all the women — FOOEY!)

(figureatively)

Interesting--I wouldn't have pegged MP as the type to take seriously that women get groped on crowded train cars. This is like the one thing he's ever done of which I approve.

Interesting move on Sam's part: attacking Willem's employer for its too-conservative revenue model. Ellen doesn't heed, but her Dad might...

Me too. I have been working my tuchus off (figureatively) so I have not had alot of time to post. I wish I could work off a few pound’s from my tuchus, but that does not work that way. Sam texted me today even tho I said I would have to tell him first whether he should text me. He knows I was talkeing to Willem at the party and he said that Willem’s bank is strictely second rate. I say FOOEY as long as he is makeing money and can support me, that is all that matters.
Today I took the Subway to work b/c it was so hot out and some guy kept rubing up against me in the train. I did NOT get a seat b/c I get on at 86th in the morning and it is express where peeople all push to get on. If I was to go 77th, I could probabely get a seat, but that is slow. Anyway, this guy kept rubing my tuchus with his leg and I told him to stop b/c he did NOT have to be that close. I had to get off at 59th b/c he kept rubing my tuchus, and I waited for the next train. When I got to work, I told the manageing partner, and he said I should have talked to the MTA police and taken his picture with my Iphone. But where were they when this guy was rubing my tuchus? I did not get this guy’s name, but next time I will remember to take his picture with my Iphone. FOOEY!

read’s the NY Post for hours after lunch

Is it possibel to read the Post for "hours"? Not much there...

Good to know we're finding out relatively soon about where MANAGEING & Manageing is moving.
I hate this also, even tho I sit in my own office, I am very close to everyone, and I must keep my door OPEN b/c I have no air otherwise. I can hear Frank all the time on the phone and also he like’s to GRUNT alot, particulareley after lunch. He also has alot of digestive issues that are GROSS that I will NOT go into, and since he sit’s right next to the bathroom, he is ALWAYS in there first and he sit’s and read’s the NY Post for hours after lunch, so I have to use the hallway bathroom and there I see peeople from other companies as well as peeople from the outside who get into our building to use the toilet’s. That bathroom is also kind of gross and the janitor’s come in unannounced to see if the toilet paper needs a new roll, and they stare at me alot when I am fixeing myself up afterward, so it is not fun for peeople who have crappy offices like I do. FOOEY!
Soon we will be moveing, either to a place on 3rd Avenue, or another dumpier place on Madison. The manageing partner says he is still negotieating, and will let us know by November 1. YAY!!!!!
