Silver Lining – benefit to the bar exam.

Interesting. Here "Vivian" is well into her family-making, yet the name "Larry" has shown up as both a prospect for Ellen and a potential fiance for another alter ego (I believe). Ellen herself sounded pretty isolated when she was studying for the bar, staying with family in Albany...

There is a Silver Lining – benefit to the bar exam. I met my husband Larry when I took the bar, and we are now expecting our 2nd Child!!!!!

the last thing you need is a UNIBROW!

I do remember Ellen qua Ellen asking how she could get her father to deal with his unibrow as well.

Amanda July 22, 2011 at 10:09 am
Men are so sloppy sometimes! I think MEN should work hard to look good, b/c they are always telling us that WE have to look good for them! I think there is a Chinese unisex nail spa near Fulton Street in Downtown Manhattan that does alot of business that also will do some tweezing for men. In this heat the last thing you need is a UNIBROW!
Oneanon July 22, 2011 at 12:41 pm
Sure – because a unibrow in feels-like 115 degree weather must just be unbearably hot.
What??
Do you think the manaeaging partner, despite being BALD, has a unibrow?
Kady July 22, 2011 at 2:06 pm
I want to live on your planet, Amanda.

Hi Ellen!

fake one’s from Canal Street do me just fine.

I love the idea of a fake Aigner bag, as opposed to the one Amanda is hoping for.

Amanda July 21, 2011 at 8:20 pm
Yes, me to. I do not like to spend alot of money on a handbag. The fake one’s from Canal Street do me just fine. For my birthday, my boyfriend says he is going to get me a real Aigner bag, like the one I had in law school and he threw up in. We will see.
Eponine July 22, 2011 at 12:21 am
This is the best Ellen reincarnation yet.
Ellie July 22, 2011 at 7:12 am
agreed.
Criminal Conversation July 22, 2011 at 8:46 am
Never watched “Ellen.”
CFM July 22, 2011 at 10:19 am
No there was a poster here that was named Ellen, that was either male or just a female in it for the reaction. She comes back under different names now, and I agree Amanda is my favorite so far.
Criminal Conversation July 22, 2011 at 10:32 am
CFM: Thanks for the explanation. :-)

Ha!

"I love Ellen’s name creativity :)"

I have a great blue and white sundress that I am wearing this weekend that I bought at J. Crew for $65.
I dare not wear it into work again because so many of the people stopped by to comment on how pretty it was and my manager does not like it when I get all that kind of attention. It fits so nicely and was very inexpensive!
In this heat, we have to do something to stay cool!

makes me look to horsey-like.

Zelda B July 20, 2011 at 4:50 pm
Yes!!! We are not horses, and this dress would make me look bad. Men would laugh at me, and that does nothing for my ego. Also, this outfit is very expensive for what it delivers, and that is not alot!
I do not appreciate being considered equivalent to an equine and those that would call me that are themselves bovine in nature!
I will dress fashionably, but not buy clothing that makes me look to horsey-like.
meme July 21, 2011 at 12:12 am
Amanda/Ellen? I think the real Zelda probably wants her name back.
zelda July 21, 2011 at 11:30 am

I think I will look good in this!

Amanda's budget is apparently more flexible than Ellen's.

Amanda July 19, 2011 at 9:57 am
Me to! I love this and it is NOT expensive. I think I will look good in this! Thanks Kat!
anon July 19, 2011 at 11:49 am
$260 is “NOT” (in capitals no less) expensive to you? bravo.
context July 19, 2011 at 12:14 pm
For a blazer, I would say $260 is pretty standard. Is it a lot of money? Yes. But is it a lot of money or expensive for a blazer? Not particularly.
anone July 19, 2011 at 12:36 pm
I smell trolls.
meme July 19, 2011 at 1:01 pm
Yeah, check out Amanda’s comments from yesterday. I think she’s Ellen/Alan.
Diana Barry July 19, 2011 at 1:39 pm
Yup.

Not that I agree with her politicos,

Comparisons with BRUNETTES?

Ellen July 8, 2011 at 1:09 pm
I do NOT look good in framed lenses. Therefore I have purchased frameless lenses. With the frameless lenses, I look more like Sarah Palin, but with them I look more like Tina Fay.
Some people think that Tina Fay is prettier, but with the lenses, I say I perfer Sarah Palin.
Not that I agree with her politicos, however.
