will NOT be abel to speak as effetivly IN court

Sowing the seeds of discord between Lynn and Mason? This can't be good for the office--but then, neither can their current relationship with all its dirty clothes, takeout, water cooler groping etc.

I agree that the rationale for scarf reimbursement is FINTASTIC. MP's not the most discerning one anyway.

I love this scarf, and MUST show ROSA b/c she can get it at NORDSTROM’s in White Plain’s!!!! Mabye she can buy two and we can be twins! YAY!!!!! I am not sure if the manageing partner will reimburse me for a scarf–technicaly it is NOT clotheing and I do NOT wear it to court, but I think I will argue that I need to wear this TO court and that if I get sick, I will NOT be abel to speak as effetivly IN court and the JUDGE will not be abel to hear my voice — therefoere I should be abel to get REIMBURSED for the scarf!
If anyone in the hive can help me with another better arguement, I am all ear’s!!!!! YAY!!!
In the mean time, Mason has been giveing me dirty look’s today. I think some of the thing’s I told Lynn must have stuck in her mind and mabye she is not beeing treated like such a dishrag by him, or some thing else is going down that I do NOT know about. Mabye I am to sensitive, but I think she may be standeing up to some of his demand’s and askeing for more in return. What else could it be? Well we women HAVE to stick up for ourselves, or guy’s will just burp and walk away. FOOEY on that! Especially since she is sleepeing with him every nite, he is probabley getting alot more then he deserves. FOOEY!
  • Your logical arguments are impeccable as always. I’m sure the managing partner will decide to reimburse you for the scarf!

  1. Of course Mason is P.O.ed at Ellen. Here he has a cute gal like Lynn sleeping with him every nite and fulfilling all of his sexual desires, and in comes Ellen to "educate" her, which could mean the end of such preconnubial bliss. A guy like Mason literally wants his woman "barefoot and busy in the kitchen" if not pregnant. Inasmuch as Ellen has lived through hell putting up with Allen, she clearly should not want to see Lynn suffer the same fate. But this does not lead to good office relations, as we already see here. Lynn deserves better than to be chewed up and spit out by Mason, who will likely move on to other women after he has had his fill of Lynn. Lynn, however, is much more vulnerable, particularly if she is packing on the pounds now.

  2. Dana, Lynn may also want Ellen to butt out because she may have invested psychic energy (in addition to her sexual wiles) to lure in Mason, and the last thing she needs is for Ellen to drive him away after she has humped the living daylights out of him!

  3. Here's Godzilla and January -- two important 'rettes, agreeing with sage advice from Ellen on men. Ellen surely has experience dealing with multiple guys chasing her!

I agree. Unless you like haveing 2 men chase you, I would loose the guy you do NOT want to date. I knew a girl in college who loved the atention she got from men, even if she KNEW the men who were trying to date her were jerk’s. So she did NOT chase away one guy she should have and that guy literaly CAMPED outside of her dorm room waiteing for her to come out and some time’s she was in there with another guy haveing sex so the guy would come out all sweatey, and it every one KNEW what was goeing on in there. But she STILL let this other guy hang out and try to date her b/c he gave her food and bought her movie ticket’s. I think she was takeing advantage of this schlub even tho she NEVER did anything sexeueal with him. She knew he wanted to have sex with her (or anything close), but she never did. What I did NOT like is that she always was leadeing him on by talkeing about future possibilitie’s with men, includeing him, which kept him on the string, hopeing that she eventueally would have sex with him b/c he alway’s was there camping out waiteing for her so he could get a chance. FOOEY on her for leadeing him on, and FOOEY on men that won’t take a rejection when given. In the mean time, I just want 1 guy to marry and support me so I do NOT have to work after I have children. Where is that guy? YAY!!!!!

  4. Here's some interesting commentary comparing Ellen to Jay-Z: Ellenwatch, are you speechless, or what is going on with you that you are not using your fingers appropriately here?

    TO Lawyer :

I have so many that to be honest, I can’t even separate one out now but one of the worst: I went out with a guy from OKC who (knowing I was a lawyer) told me the real reason women aren’t as successful as men is because we have too many emotions and it was purely biological so feminism isn’t going to accomplish anything. (I’m paraphrasing but only slightly).

Honestly, you go on so many bad dates while online dating sometimes. My philosophy is generally similar to Ellen or Jay Z – JSFAMO or “onto the next one”.

That said, I know how discouraging it can be (and I’m there right now) but I think it’s a numbers game.

I like that you put Ellen and Jay-Z in the same school of philosophical thought. ;)

“What do Ellen and Jay-Z have in common?”

    1) Overconfidence; 2) New York City.

I love these shoe’s! But they onley have 3″ heels; the manageing partner want’s me to wear 4″ at all times in court, b/c men love me in highest heel’s tho I perfer flat’s around the office.

I have a question for the HIVE. Has anyone done a Master of Sceince in Finance on Line? The manageing partner said he would pay for me to do this online b/c dad said I should have a gradeuate degree in addition to my law degree, and this way, I can do on ON LINE. Dad sent me this link:

    http://msbonline.georgetown.edu/home2-94434-5380YS.html

It is to GEORGETOWN’s MSF program. According to their websight, “Georgetown University’s MSF online program takes today’s best financial professionals and transforms them into recognized leaders in their profession. At the program’s core is a world-class curriculum that consists of rigorous coursework, real-world applications, a global outlook and a commitment to ethical values. You will learn firsthand from a faculty of distinguished scholars and award-winning teachers dedicated to your success.”

I would like to be a success, and this mean’s workeing, but if it’s not good for me, I want to know NOW. So, does anyone know it and recomend it? Dad thought I would do well there b/c I would NOT have to go there much and when I did, I could stay with Laurie since she threw out her husband and they are getting a divorce b/c he was cheateing with someone who work’s at Home Depot in the Paint Department. I wonder what kind of paint she put on him that made him want to have sex with her? I never liked her husband and can not even imageine him with his pant’s off. But I guess the woman from Home Depot was OK with his weenie. FOOEY!

I can’t speak to Georgetown’s B school, but if it is an on-line school, give it a try. I know their other schools are decent, and if you wind up with a business degree, you will be very marketable. Also, you’re more likely to land a guy if you can show you have business skills as well as legal skills. Guys like that, because you will be viewed as an “earner” not a “drainer”.
