For the record, I would like to explain my choices. When Ellen first appeared, I believed that Ellen was a man who believed that Ellen's concerns were those of a stereotypical female. I think it is possible that the more recent incarnation(s) of Ellen are voiced by a woman. I have no real idea how old Ellen is or whether she is a lawyer or whether she is Jewish. She may well be a lawyer because she seems to have a slight grasp of the profession. For some reason, I do think her comments reflect, in a warped way, his/her daily life. The fact that s/he disappeared for three-four days after s/he'd announced a trip to Pittsburgh to take depositions leads me to believe that Ellen's life bears some resemblance to a real person's.
Thank you. I knew that people's responses to Poll #2 might interact in complex ways with their responses to #1, but wasn't really able to work around that. The Blogger polling tool is simply not sophisticated enough for our subject matter.
